POLLAKS is a gallery for contemporary art, showcasing artists who engage with the cultural and visual realities of our time. Founded in Berlin by Leila and Nikolai Pollak, the gallery operates at the intersection of art, architecture, and urban life.
Through exhibitions and site-specific projects, POLLAKS supports both emerging and established artists working in painting, photography, sculpture, and interdisciplinary media.
The gallery sees art as a living presence—extending beyond traditional exhibition spaces and into the rhythm of the city. Through collaborations with cultural venues, hospitality spaces, and creative communities, it creates new ways for people to engage with contemporary art.
Rooted in Berlin’s international cultural landscape, POLLAKS creates lasting connections between artists, collectors, and audiences.
The gallery has been located at Dufte on Kantstrasse since May 2026 and operates its own space with us, featuring monthly rotating exhibitions.

Synthetic Nature by Maxim Brandt & Alexander Skorobogatov
Synthetic Nature brings together the artistic practices of Maxim Brandt and Alexander Skorobogatov, whose work explores the transformation of matter, perception and visual language. The exhibition presents materials as carriers of memory and imagination and opens a dialogue between the tangible world and constructed realities.
Maxim Brandt works with everyday objects and found materials, which he sees as carriers of memory and personal history. Through painting, drawing and the use of physical elements, he turns fragments of reality into symbols that connect personal experiences of nature, time and human existence. Recurring motifs of forests and landscapes create spaces in which the boundaries between humans, animals and environment blur. His works thus point to the ecological fragility of our world while sketching a utopian vision of harmony between humans and nature.
Alexander Skorobogatov’s artistic practice explores myth, metamorphosis and the creation of imaginary worlds. In painting, sculpture and experimental material processes, he transforms ancient references, fantastic figures and organic forms into vivid pictorial worlds situated between nature and fiction. His works examine the instability of every form and the ways in which colour, surface and processes of transformation can give rise to new realities.
